2. Description of Service
SilentCut is a free, browser-based audio editing tool that detects and removes silent portions from audio files. The Service processes all audio locally on your device using WebAssembly technology. No audio files are uploaded to or processed on our servers.
3. User Responsibilities
You agree to:

- •Only process audio files that you own or have the right to edit
- •Not attempt to reverse engineer or exploit the Service
- •Not use the Service to infringe on others' intellectual property rights
4. Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to your audio files. SilentCut does not claim any ownership over content you process using the Service. The Service itself, including its code, design, and branding, is protected by intellectual property laws.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
6. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SILENTCUT AND ITS CREATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR DAMAGE TO YOUR DEVICE.
7. Audio Processing
While we strive to provide accurate silence detection and removal, results may vary depending on the audio content. We recommend previewing processed audio before using it in production. Always keep backups of your original files.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to discontinue the Service at any time without notice. Since all processing is local to your device, termination of the Service will not affect any files you have already processed.
