How It Works

When you upload an audio file to SilentCut:

1. The file is loaded directly into your browser's memory
2. All processing happens locally using WebAssembly (FFmpeg)
3. The processed file is generated in your browser
4. You download the result directly to your device
5. No data is ever sent to our servers (we don't have any)

Browser Storage

SilentCut may use your browser's local storage to remember your preferences (such as export format settings). This data is stored only on your device and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.
